✅What is a Rectangle?
A rectangle is a shape with four straight sides and four corners, like a door, a book, or a TV screen. Opposite sides are always equal!
✅Measuring it
We measure it using:
👉 Length: The longer side.
👉 Width: The shorter side.
Area: The space inside (Length x Width).
Perimeter: The distance around the outside (Length + Width + Length + Width).
✅The Formulas
Area = l × w (Length times Width)
Perimeter = 2 × (l + w) (Add length and width, then double it!)
Where 'l' is length and 'w' is width.
